The Bowen Island Pride Parade takes place on Nexwlélexwm (Bowen Island) the unceded traditional land of the Skwxwú7mesh Nation.

🎉 11:00 AM - Pre-Parade Rally at the BICS School Field

• Parade is rain or shine!

• Bring your own sign, flags, and any other rainbow flare!

• Dogs are not permitted on the school grounds.

• Bring your own water bottle - we’ll have a refill station at the Pier Party.

🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ 11:15 AM-ish - Third Annual Bowen Island Pride Parade down the Multi-Use Path

• Parade starts after the 11:15 AM ferry departs.

• This is a pedestrian parade and we’ll use the Multi-Use Path towards the Snug Cove Dock.

• Feel free to join in the parade or cheer from the sidelines!

🦄 11:15 AM - 12:00 PM - Pop-Up Cheer Station at the Bowen Island Library Lawn

• An accessible space with fun party vibes for folks to cheer for the parade!

🎶✨🎵12:00 PM - 3:00 PM - NEW! All-Ages Pier Party on the Municipal Pier

• Awesome music thanks to DJ Mayor McCheese and DJ Jamie Nesbitt, featuring a special performance by The Unstoppable Conni Smudge!

• We’ll have food options, beverages, water refills, and activities for all!
