The People’s Prom is a joyful, inclusive dance party where you get to reimagine, relive or reclaim prom. However you like!

It’s a fundraiser for the Bowen Island Pride Society, inspired by a legendary east van valentine’s tradition. Dress in ridiculous, retro, sparkly prom gear (or whatever makes you feel fabulous). Come with a date, with friends, or solo. Everyone belongs on this dance floor.

Expect DJ Jamie Nesbitt, DJ Sarahtonin and DJ Big Rube to present nonstop dancefloor bangers, retro throwbacks, slow dances, dance-offs, surprises, prizes, and yes…careless whisper will probably be played.
